U.S. Emergency Alert System is a nationwide system for national, state, and local government officials to provide critical messages affecting public health and safety through the commercial broadcast media. EAS broadcasts may include warnings about weather and technological emergiencies, including tornadoes, floods, and earthquakes, toxic chemical spills, radiation emergiencies, explosions and fires, and other disasters that require immediate public notification. Install in every home, school, hospital and other gathering places.
